The amazing Spartan Sports Journalism Classic will be taking over CAS on October 23, 2015.

Dean Prabu David and former NBA/Olympic/MSU basketball star Steve Smith (who is now a NBA broadcaster) are hosting the event. We’re again bringing together MSU sports JRN alumni, students, and faculty to network, discuss, learn, laugh and share in our community.

At the SSJC, Spartan sports media professionals (writers, editors, bloggers, photographers, broadcasters, commentators, etc.) share their expertise with students and network with each other.

Schedule of Events

Teach: Lead a guest lecture in sports media

Dine: Socialize and network with fellow sports media alumni over lunch

Coach: Advise aspiring sports media students in our speed coaching version of networking
