  • The Daily Chief-Union in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, is hiring a sports reporter: Coverage primarily is of high school sports in Wyandot County. Duties include writing game stories, features and previews. The person hired also will be responsible for taking photos, but previous experience in that area is not required. Some page layout also will be taught as part of job duties. Another responsibility of the job includes some news coverage, especially monthly council and school board meetings. Other writing opportunities, such as columns, are possible. A qualified candidate should be knowledgeable in a variety of sports with the ability to keep stats and game notes, conduct professional interviews and write efficiently.
