We’ve had two amazing things happen already this semester: Having Detroit Tigers broadcaster Dan Dickerson teach a six-week class on play-by-play, and a two hour discussion of the craft with NBC Olympics host/NFL broadcaster Mike Tirico.
Having the chance to learn from Dan and Mike was huge, as they brought their real world excellence into the classroom. Being a successful sportscaster takes preparation, dedication, hard work and understanding the tech of broadcasting.
Our students are taking their skills into practice, working on their play by play by covering MSU sports across campus.
Good luck to Mike with the Olympics and Dan with the Tigers 2017 season!
