The awards keep coming for MSU Sports Journalism students! The Spartan Sports Report, and anchor/-co-founder Brad Merlo, have placed in the Michigan Association of Broadcasters student contest! It’s a very impressive accomplishment, as the SSR is only in its first year.

(The SSR is open to ALL interested students, of all years and experience. Beginners welcome! MSU students interested in joining the SSR should drop by one of our meetings on Tuesday night from 7-9 in the Spartan Newsroom or email Sam Metry at sammetry@gmail.com or Michael Epps at eppsmich@msu.edu.)

Former graduate student (and now ALUM!) Matt Mika won first place for his Matt Mika Sports Show, and we send him huge love too.
